Online Tournament Results, July 1 through July 31, 2020.

Players are divided into 3 bands: 6 in the open section, with no handicaps; 7 in the middle section with handicaps and 7 in the lower section with handicaps.
This allows us to use a round robin format in the open section, where each player plays every other player in their band.
The middle and lower sections will have more flexibility but will match winners playing winners to determine final scores.

On August 1st, with only 4 games of 50 yet to be completed, most of the winners can be proclaimed. The Open Section was won by Shawn Ray, with the tournament's only 5-0 record. Nice job! Second Place was secured by Chen Yuan, with a very respectable 4-1 performance.

The Middle Section, with players from 1 Dan to 8 Kyu, had 3 players with 4-1 records: Charles Alden, Dan Scheck and Bob Bacon. Of these 3, Charles Alden faced the stiffest competition and should be noted as the winner (both Bob and Dan were paired for one game with opponents from the third band).

The competitive Kyu section with players rated 9 Kyu to 16 Kyu is still undecided, as we wait for the final few games to be completed, with the 3 band leaders being Andre Smiley, James Harberberger and Justin Su.
